Refund Policy

Plain English. No fine print.

30-day money-back on first month

If you cancel within 30 days of your first paid month and feel we didn't deliver what we promised, we'll refund your first month's subscription fee in full. No questions, no win-back call, no friction.

How to request: Email kenny@hyder.me with subject "Refund request" before day 30 of your first paid month. Refund processes within 3 business days.

Setup fees

One-time setup fees cover the upfront work: rebuilding your website, migrating your domain, wiring ad accounts, GBP setup, citation submission, integration configuration. The bulk of this work happens in the first 2 weeks of your engagement.

  • Days 1–14: If your website hasn't been delivered, full refund of setup. Email us.
  • Days 15–30: Prorated refund of setup based on which milestones we've completed. Standard split: website (50%), ad account wiring (25%), GBP + citations (15%), integrations (10%).
  • Day 30+: Setup fees are considered earned and non-refundable. Monthly subscription is still cancelable anytime.

Monthly subscription

Cancelable anytime with 30 days notice. You keep service through the end of your current billing period. We don't auto-roll into another month.

Past day 30 of your first month, monthly subscription fees for completed billing periods are non-refundable. You pay for the service you used.

AI token top-ups

Unused top-up tokens are refundable within 14 days of purchase IF they have not been used at all. Partially-used packs are not refundable but they also never expire — they roll over indefinitely.

What happens when you cancel

  • Your subscription is marked canceled but everything stays active until your period ends.
  • At period end, dashboard access locks and your hosted site is taken down.
  • You can export all your data at any time before lockout.
  • Your domain stays with your registrar (we don't hold it hostage).
  • Your data is archived (not deleted) for 12 months after cancellation, in case you reactivate.
  • After 12 months, data is permanently deleted per our data retention policy.

Things we won't refund

  • Ad spend you paid Meta/Google directly (we don't handle that — they have their own refund processes).
  • Setup fees past day 30 — the work was delivered.
  • Monthly subscription periods you've used — same logic.
  • Partially-used AI token packs — but they never expire, so they hold their value.

We'd rather you talk to us than file a chargeback. Email kenny@hyder.me with what happened and we'll work it out. Most issues are resolved within 48 hours.
